Episode 16 with Kat Friesen CAT(C) & Sarah Hauch BSc.(KIN)- Feeling your Best in the Menopausal Process

In today's episode, Kat and Sarah discuss their upcoming course and research on peri & menopause. The course is the first of a series that focuses on the physiological changes that women go through. The course goes over the theory around what is happening; the nervous system, the hormones, the system changes, and will teach you training principles around working with peri and menopausal women. In 2025, Kat and Sarah will be taking the programs they teach in the course, and testing them in a 6-month research project. Listen in to hear more about what Kat and Sarah have been up to!

Kat Friesen is an Athletic Therapist and Osteopathic Manual Therapist. She has acquired many other accreditations over the years including a CSCS, treating through pregnancy, and completing a thesis on the impacts of stress and hormone changes on the body. She currently runs her own solo practitioner business. 

Sarah Hauch has a bachelor’s in kinesiology and has owned a corporate wellness and personal training business. She opened a healing centre in Toronto and Winnipeg and built a business across Canada teaching in 15 different cities. Sarah has been helping women in health for over 25 years. She is also a mum of 2.
